You deserve a space where you can feel heard and seen.

Creating stronger connections.

A blended approach

My background in Narrative Therapy shapes the way I understand people: as individuals deeply influenced by relationships, experiences, and the stories they have come to carry about themselves. I help clients slow down and make sense of patterns, externalize problems, and reconnect with values and strengths that may feel difficult to access.

Through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I support individuals and couples in understanding the emotions and attachment needs beneath conflict, withdrawal, or disconnection. My goal is to help people feel more understood, emotionally safe, and connected in their relationships.

I am also trained in EMDR, an approach that helps people process trauma, painful experiences, and experiences that continue to feel emotionally “stuck.” EMDR can support healing by helping the brain and body process difficult experiences in new ways.

I integrate DBT-informed strategies to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, increasing self-awareness, and tolerating distress during difficult seasons of life.

I believe therapy is most meaningful when it balances compassion, curiosity, emotional depth, and practical support.

My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both professional experience and a deep appreciation for human connection. For more than 25 years, I supported individuals through life transitions, challenges, and growth at the University of Washington, helping thousands of students navigate difficult decisions and discover their own resilience. I hold a Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University and a Master of Science in Education in Counseling and Development from Purdue University.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in relationships through feeling truly seen and understood. I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where clients can safely explore challenges, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful change. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three children, and our two dogs—whether that means long walks, game nights, or simply being together.
